Calvary International Language School (CILS) is a faith-based, nonprofit adult English language school founded in 2023 and serving the Greater Orlando community. Our mission is to support language proficiencies among adult learners by equipping them with convenient language courses in community that improve graduates’ ability to communicate in personal and professional settings.
CILS serves adults ages 18 and older at the beginner and intermediate English levels, helping students build the confidence and communication skills needed to pursue employment opportunities, advance their careers, support their families, and participate more fully in their communities. We believe that language should never be a barrier to opportunity.
To meet the needs of today’s adult learners, CILS offers a flexible hybrid learning model that combines live online instruction with engaging in-person conversation classes. This community-centered approach allows students to balance work, family, and other responsibilities while receiving high-quality English instruction in a supportive, relationship-focused environment.
In 2027, CILS will expand access to English education through its Community Learning Network, bringing in-person classes to multiple locations across Metro Orlando through partnerships with churches and community organizations. CILS will also launch workforce development programming in collaboration with local employers and community partners, helping adult English learners develop the language and professional skills necessary for long-term career success.
CILS welcomes partnerships with employers, referral organizations, churches, community agencies, sales teams, and volunteers who share our vision of empowering multilingual adults through education. Together, we are building stronger individuals, stronger workplaces, and stronger communities.
