Join The Hispanic Chamber's Business Advocacy Committee for a special briefing featuring Scott Howat, Chief Communications Officer for Orange County Public Schools, for an informational overview of the Special Millage Renewal appearing on the November ballot. Orange County voters will be asked to consider extending the district’s current 1-mill property tax for an additional four years to support school operations. This meeting will provide members with an opportunity to better understand the referendum, how the funds are currently used, and its potential significance to education, workforce development, and the broader Central Florida community.
