We are excited to announce the upcoming leadership elections for the NAHN Central Florida Chapter. This is a wonderful opportunity for members to take on leadership roles and contribute to our mission of improving the quality of healthcare for Hispanic communities.


Nomination Period: May 1, 2025 – April 30, 2026


Positions Open for Election:

  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Board Members (5 positions)
  • Leader for Event Committee
  • Leader for membership Committee
  • Leader for Public Relations Committee
  • Leader for Education Committee
  • Leader for Election and Scholarship Committee


Eligibility & Commitment:


✅ Self-nominations are encouraged. If nominated by another member, the nominee must accept the nomination.

✅ Must be a current member in good standing with NAHN Central Florida.

✅ Must commit to 2-3 hours per week (8-12 hours per month) to fulfill leadership responsibilities.

✅Attend 75% of schedule board and assembly meetings


Nomination Process:

  1. Complete the Nomination form
  2. Submit a brief statement (200 words) outlining your qualifications and vision for the position.
  3. Submit Form by 11:59 PM on April 8, 2025.


Election Timeline:

  • April 9 – April 16, 2025: Review of nominations by the current Board.
  • April 17, 2025: Announcement of candidates.
  • April 18 – April 25, 2025: Candidate campaigning period if applicable.
  • May 26 – April 30th, 2025: Online voting period.
  • May 1, 2025: Announcement of election results.
